Entrepreneur Coach

A serial entrepreneur at heart, Glenn has devoted his business acumen, tech expertise, and visionary leadership to helping self-made entrepreneurs increase the value of their businesses and escape the day-to-day grind through coaching, mentoring, and leadership facilitation.

Once dubbed the “entrepreneur's entrepreneur” by his coach and colleague, Glenn is extremely passionate about entrepreneurship and capitalizing on the opportunity to control your own destiny personally and professionally.

Glenn is an active member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization and currently serves on the EO Boston board as the co-chair for their Accelerator program. An EO Accelerator graduate himself, Glenn continues to support Accelerator as a member-leader, accountability coach, and mentor, giving back to the program that he credits for helping him grow and ultimately sell his business.

With a number of new business concepts in the works, Glenn’s primary focus is on business coaching and leadership team facilitation via Selfassembled. In addition to Selfassembled and EO, Glenn currently serves as a board advisor for Mission Cloud Services and is an official member of the Forbes Coaches Council.

Tech Visionary

Glenn started G2 Tech Group an, IT Managed Services Provider, in the shadows of the 2009 financial crisis. Like many fellow entrepreneurs, Glenn was a tradesperson that had decided to set out on their own doing what they did best and wasn’t necessarily thinking about the bigger picture of running a business.

Out of the gate, G2 was an IT MSP that would pretty much do anything tech-related for its SMB customers. In addition to the broad economic challenges of the times, the IT industry was becoming a highly competitive and saturated industry with commoditization driving down prices in the market.

Understanding the value of differentiation, Glenn began to pivot his business away from the traditional IT MSP model and shifted his focus on the Cloud. As an Amazon Web Services, Advanced Consulting Partner G2 was able to bring new and highly differentiated Managed Cloud offerings to his existing SMB customers.

Glenn took this one step further pioneering the concept of Managed DevOps, expanding his addressable market to the booming SaaS industry, and making his business a truly one-of-a-kind MSP. Glenn continued to grow G2 into a four-time Inc 5000 Award winner for the fastest-growing privately held companies in the US from 2015 to 2018.

In 2018 Glenn sold G2 Tech Group to Great Hill Partners, a private equity firm from Boston, MA. Great Hill Partners also acquired fellow AWS Consulting Partners Reliam and Stratalux, merging all three businesses into what is now Mission Cloud Services.

Working With Glenn

Glenn is an energetic, enthusiastic, and sometimes eccentric entrepreneur. His “why” is challenging the status quo to help people to achieve what otherwise is perceived as impossible.

Not your average business coach, Glenn prefers a hoodie over a sports coat. He speaks from first-hand experience and intimately understands the emotions and pressures endured along the entrepreneurial journey.

A calculated risk-taker, Glenn will take you out of your comfort zone. He will get you fired up about taking the next business leap while helping you overcome the hangups that might be holding you back.

Glenn has a “work hard, play hard” mantra, and often finds a way to intermingle the two. He will push you to take on big challenges and encourage you to reward yourself for taking on the risks of being an entrepreneur.

Personal & Interests

Outside of business, Glenn is a family man with two young and active sons. Glenn, his wife Aspen & the boys enjoy Skiing in the winter and various water sports and outdoor activities in the summer.

Glenn is also a Onewheel rider and enthusiast. He and his sons enjoy trail riding together and they are also working on building their own Onewheel terrain park at home.

Much of Glenn’s hobbies and interests are unsurprisingly technology-related. Glenn is a big-time home automation geek and audiophile. He has an unrivaled Phillips Hue and Sonos deployment that allows him to turn his home and/or backyard into an instant dance party for him and his family to enjoy!

Glenn is also into fitness, mindfulness, and meditation, and lives to enjoy each and every day to its fullest.
